A House for You and Your Friends

This house has been outfitted with all the comforts most anyone would expect in their own home, with a few bonus items that are great for specifically Altus living. The house creates an environment where each person in each room can come together to enjoy the community.

Stream

HBO Max. Disney+. Hulu+ Live TV. ESPN+. Prime Video. Peacock. Netflix. If you can stream it, we’ve got it - and you can watch it on the 50+” TVs in any bedroom. No matter where you’re visiting Altus from, you’ve earned the right to catch up with all your shows.

Game

If you want to game with your friends, our Nintendo Switch has 4 controllers for Super Smash Bros or Mario Kart. For larger groups, we’ve got classics like Catan and Splendor, or via the Switch on the Jackbox Party Packs! We’ve got entertainment for the crowd.

Study

Every bedroom has its own private study nook, for when you need to focus. The separate study room has a standing whiteboard with multi-colored markers for group studying, but also hosts a futon with privacy curtains if friends need a spot to stay the night.

Hang

The backyard hosts a fire pit, grill, and patio furniture for the summer nights that should be spent outdoors. With a kegerator and stocked bar, we hope you never question whether you’re staying somewhere designed to support you well.

Altus living should be… thoughtless.
Your training should be your only worry.

Located in Altus’ premier neighborhood, our crashpad is the perfect blend of experience from a 10-year crashpad owner and the freshness of a recent Altus graduate. The combination of perspectives ensures the less-obvious considerations are met, while also meeting modern crashpad expectations. When you stay with us, you’ll find an appreciation for things you didn’t know you needed (like the fact that we’ll never make you share a bathroom with more than one person), and you’ll appreciate the homely touches (like never running out of pods for the Nespresso, or Tide Pods in the laundry room). Each bedroom has a private study nook, but we also made a public study room with a whiteboard for when you’re studying with your friends. If Altus living is thoughtless, then you can focus solely on what matters: your training.

Surrounded by Crashpads

When you’re at Altus, your friends should be nearby. If they’re not staying with us, they’re almost definitely in the neighborhood - you should be within a short walk to most of Altus’ other crashpads.

Note: In a July ‘21 MFR (viewable here), the 97th Training Squadron reminded all students that officers and enlisted members cannot live together pursuant to AFI 36-2902. As almost 100% of our tenancy comes from pilots attending training, we will be unable to accommodate loadmasters or boom operators; however, if you reach out, we would love to connect you to other crashpad operators in the area with space!
